Pontiac 455 Block and Crankshaft - Has been full machined. The crankshaft has been reground to 10/10. The block has been degreased, magnafluxed, and pressure tested. Has been bored 0.030 over and decked. Cam bearing and freeze plugs have been installed. This block is ready to assemble!

Chevy 327 small journal steel crank short block - Has been fully machined. The block has been degreased, magnafluxed, and pressure tested. Has been bored 0.030 over with flat top pistons, 268H Competition Cams camshaft and a roller time and chain and gear set. Cam bearing and brass freeze plugs have been installed.
This is an engine that a customer abandoned in my shop a few years ago. From the information he told me this is a 1924 Chevy 490 Superior 4 cylinder engine. This style of engine was manufactured from 1918 to 1924 making this engine at least 88 years old! I have put a good amount of work into restoring this engine. All parts are degreased and have either been reconditioned or are in rebuildable condition. The block had a crack on the outside and has been repaired. The block has been magnafluxed, pressure tested, decked and bored. The block will need finish honing once the new pistons are purchased. The head has been hot tanked, magnafluxed, pressure tested, resurfaced, and all of the valve seats have been machined. The crankshaft has been reground. This block has all push rods, lifters, springs and valves as seen in pictures. Also included is the oil pan, flywheel, clutch, starter, distributor and timing cover and more. This is a complete long block with most of the accessories. This is a very rare find that has been an honor to work on.
